Due Dates and Deadlines

You and your students have a lot of due dates and deadlines to keep up with. So here's our small way of helping you tie that string around your finger.

But wait — this calendar does not include all the must do's. Yes, you still have to read that official stuff in the Class Schedule and Registration Guide, financial aid and housing contracts, and other UC Davis documents.

Spring Quarter 2008

June 5, Thursday — Instruction ends.

June 7 and 9 to 12 — Used Book Buyback — The UC Davis Bookstore offers to buy students' used textbooks for cash at several locations on campus.

June 7, Friday — Final exams continue through June 12.

June 12, Thursday — Final exams and the quarter end; residence halls close at 7 p.m.

Summer Sessions 2008

June 23, Monday — Summer Session I continues through Aug. 1.


July 4, Friday — The campus is closed for Independence Day.

July 7, Monday — For students expecting to complete work for a bachelor's degree in the ovr the summer, this is the deadline to file a graduation application to be awarded the degree in September.


Aug. 4, Monday — Summer Session II continues through Sept. 12.


Sept. 1, Monday — The campus is closed for Labor Day.
