Aggie Family Pack — UC Davis publishes a monthly e-mail newsletter for the families of its students and maintains a Web site geared to their interests. UC Davis Magazine — UC Davis publishes this quarterly magazine for alumni, faculty, parents of students, donors and other friends of the campus. News releases — The news that UC Davis sends to media is available on the Web along with a searchable archive of past news releases. Anyone may subscribe to receive news releases by e-mail.

NewsWatch on KVIE — KVIE Channel 6, Northern California's PBS station, airs news segments about UC Davis' latest research and other programs that impact the public. Produced by UC Davis, the NewsWatch items run between station breaks on weeknights and weekends.

Faculty and Staff Newspaper — Dateline UC Davis delivers news about campus issues and events, research, higher-education trends and people. Written and edited by the UC Davis News Service, the 12,000-reader newspaper publishes weekly on Fridays during the academic year, with breaks for the holidays. Student Media

The California Aggie — This student newspaper is published Monday through Friday during the academic year and twice a week in the summer. It is distributed free on the UC Davis campus and in the Davis community. Mail subscriptions are $100 per academic year, $35 per quarter and $25 for the summer. The Aggie also publishes news online. The newspaper's offices are located in 25 Lower Freeborn Hall. For more information, call (530) 752-0208.

KDVS-FM — KDVS is a non-commercial radio station run by students and members of the community. Broadcasting around the clock at 90.3 FM, the station offers diverse programming including news and public affairs, Aggie athletics, music and live performances by bands. The station, which is a unit of the Associated Students of UC Davis, has a signal strength of 9,200 watts and can be heard over the Internet. The station is located in 14 Lower Freeborn Hall. Campus Media Board — Accountable to the vice chancellor for Student Affairs, the Campus Media Board oversees student media at UC Davis. It develops policies and establishes standards for the California Aggie and KDVS-FM; hires the editor-in-chief of the Aggie and the general manager of KDVS; monitors the operations of the media; provides advice and counsel to media managers; resolves grievances; and protects the media against infringements or limitations on their First Amendment rights.
